Modulight Corporation will organize the International Photodynamic Association's (IPA) biennial World Congress in year 2023. The photodynamic therapy congress is a meeting place for medical researchers and clinicians to share ideas, research publications, and new discoveries in the field of medicine and technology.
IPA-2023 will be held in Modulight's home town Tampere from 10th to 15th July 2023. The congress will bring about 500 leading photodynamic therapy (PDT) experts, clinicians, researchers and industrial partners to Tampere. IPA-2023 will be held in Tampere Hall.
"We are very pleased with the trust we have received to act as an organizer at this very prestigious congress in the photodynamic field next year. The proposal for selecting Modulight as the organizer of the event came from the IPA board, although it is unusual for a company to organize a scientific congress. This signifies the great appreciation of the photodynamic community towards us and our long-term partnership with many of the leading researchers in the field", says Seppo Orsila, CEO of Modulight.
