Construction begins on Attendo’s new nursing home in Mölndal, Sweden

The new nursing home is designed with a focus on safety, accessibility, and person-centered care tailored to everyone’s needs. Attendo Änggården will focus on culture and entertainment, with social interaction, activities and experiences forming a natural part of everyday life.

Our aim is to create a home where high-quality care goes hand in hand with a sense of community and an active, enjoyable everyday life. Culture and entertainment will be an important part of daily life, giving residents plenty of opportunities to take part in activities and enjoy new experiences,” says Camilla Henneryd, Regional Director for Elderly Care in Southern Sweden at Attendo.

The need for elderly care is growing as more people reach an older age. Attendo Änggården is part of Attendo’s long-term commitment to developing new care homes in areas where demand is increasing. Attendo is continuing to expand its high-quality care services and is now increasing the pace of development to create more capacity for the future.

The new care home is designed to support both community and independence. It will include shared spaces for activities, a sunroom and a garden where residents can spend time together and enjoy being outdoors. Attendo Änggården will be in a green setting near Pedagogen Park in Mölndal, with easy access to local services.

Construction is now underway, and the nursing home is planned to open in 2028.
