Boreo’s subsidiary Floby Nya Bilverkstad AB divests Lackmästar'n i Håkantorp AB
Floby Nya Bilverkstad AB ("FNB"), a subsidiary of Boreo Plc, has on 31 July, 2026 signed an agreement to sell the entire share capital of Lackmästar'n i Håkantorp AB ("Lackmästarn") to JC Lack & Kaross AB ("Buyer"). The signing and closing of the transaction took place on the same day. The Buyer is a company established by a former employee of Lackmästarn.
The transaction supports the continuation of Lackmästarn's business under new entrepreneurial ownership and provides a solid foundation for the long-term cooperation between FNB and Lackmästarn. Following the transaction, FNB will be able to further focus on its core business, while Lackmästarn continues to develop its local operations as an independent company.
"We have previously communicated that we are evaluating our portfolio in relation to our long-term strategic objectives and capital allocation priorities. Based on this assessment, we believe that transferring Lackmästarn to dedicated entrepreneurial ownership best supports the long-term objectives of both Lackmästarn and Boreo. At the same time, the transaction creates a strong foundation for the long-term commercial partnership between FNB and Lackmästarn, and we appreciate the constructive cooperation we have had with JC Lack & Kaross AB throughout the entire process", says Richard Karlsson, SVP, Technical Trade Business Area.
Founded in 1982, Lackmästarn specializes in painting, surface treatment and coating services for heavy vehicles. The company employs approximately 9 people and is located in Håkantorp, Sweden. During the last twelve months, the company's net sales amounted to approximately SEK 9.6 million.
The transaction is not expected to have a material impact on the Boreo Group's operational EBIT for the financial year 2026.
