C-RAD brings accessible SGRT, expanded interoperability and a first look at the next-generation workflow platform to ASTRO 2026
C-RAD AB (publ), a global leader in Surface Guided Radiation Therapy (SGRT), will exhibit at the ASTRO 2026 Annual Meeting in Boston, September 26–30, with live demonstrations of the Catalyst⁺ family, newly announced interoperability between the Sentinel product and United Imaging, and a first preview of the new platform that will power the next generation of C-RAD software.
Catalyst⁺ HD, C-RAD's flagship system, offers the largest field of view in SGRT, capturing the patient from hip to head as a single, continuous region of interest. At ASTRO, visitors can also experience a new ergonomic setup workflow and a redesigned user interface, both shaped by clinical feedback. For clinics taking their first step into SGRT, Catalyst⁺ LITE delivers high-precision motion management and tattoo-less setup in a single-scanner system, with a modular design that upgrades to Catalyst⁺ HD without hardware replacement.
For US clinics, the Catalyst⁺ products come with a clear financial advantage. Both Catalyst⁺ HD and Catalyst⁺ LITE provide real-time active motion management that can qualify treatments for the higher-complexity CPT 77412 delivery code under the 2026 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule, making advanced SGRT a sound investment for clinics of every size.
C-RAD is also pleased to announce that Sentinel, its surface scanning companion for the CT room, is now interoperable with United Imaging CT systems. Adding another key player to Sentinel's supported platforms gives more clinics the freedom to build a consistent, motion-managed workflow from simulation through treatment. The successful interoperability is the result of close collaboration between both organizations' engineering and product teams, underscoring a shared commitment to advancing patient care through interoperable technology.
Looking ahead, C-RAD will preview upcoming workflow solutions for automated patient identity verification. Today, identity is often confirmed manually, a step that sits outside the digital workflow and is open to error. C-RAD's solution uses state-of-the-art facial recognition based on the patient's photo to make verification a seamless, built-in part of every treatment, adding efficiency and safety to the clinic. It runs on C-RAD's new software platform, which will form the foundation of the future C-RAD open oncology workflow platform and serve as a hub for analytics and interoperability for all products in the ecosystem.
