Clavister Receives Spanish Approval for Firewall Software to Protect Classified Information
Örnsköldsvik, Sweden – 3 November 2026 – Clavister, a leader in European cybersecurity for mission-critical applications, has received qualification and approval from Spain’s Centro Criptológico Nacional (CCN) for its cOS Core 15.00 firewall software, which is now included in the CPSTIC catalogue. The approval covers use in networks handling classified information, including SECRET, and strengthens Clavister’s position as a trusted European cybersecurity supplier for government and defence applications.
The CPSTIC catalogue supports Spanish public-sector organisations and their service providers in selecting cybersecurity products for systems subject to the National Security Scheme (ENS) or handling classified information. Clavister’s software is listed as both qualified for ENS High and approved for classified environments.
Clavister cOS Core 15.00 powers the Clavister NetWall and military-grade Clavister CyberArmour RSG platforms. These product families support the protection of public administration, critical infrastructure and defence networks, with CyberArmour designed for demanding operational environments such as armoured vehicles and tactical communications.
“This approval strengthens our access to the Spanish government and defence markets and creates new commercial opportunities for Clavister and our partners. It also enables us to support the Spanish defence sector with European cybersecurity technology developed in Sweden, helping protect sensitive information and critical networks in demanding operational environments,” says John Vestberg, CEO of Clavister.
The qualification and approval build on Clavister’s commitment to delivering high-assurance cybersecurity technology developed in Sweden, supporting the security and operational resilience of civil and military customers.
