Coegin Pharma provides an update on product development and upcoming product launches
Coegin Pharma AB ("Coegin" or the "Company") today provides an update on the expansion of its Follicopeptide®-based product portfolio. Development is progressing across several new applications, including an eyelash serum and a new VEXIENNE® Clinic portfolio featuring a unique spray product specifically developed for use in connection with hair transplantation. The first new products are planned for launch in Q4 2026, followed by an eyebrow product planned for Q1 2027. The expansion broadens the commercial potential of Follicopeptide into additional high-value beauty and professional categories, while leveraging Coegin's existing technology, formulation expertise and production capabilities.
Eyelash serum - planned launch Q4 2026
Coegin is in advanced development of a new cosmetic eyelash serum based on Follicopeptide. The product will be introduced in a new premium packaging concept featuring an innovative dispensing and application system designed for precise and convenient use.
A consumer panel evaluation is ongoing in Sweden and Denmark. In parallel, clinical testing of formulation, bottle designs and applicators is also in progress. Subject to successful completion of the ongoing development activities, launch is planned for Q4 2026.

We still need to complete the ongoing evaluations before drawing final conclusions, but the progress strengthens our confidence in Follicopeptide as a platform that can be developed for applications beyond the scalp," says Jens Eriksson, CEO of Coegin Pharma.
VEXIENNE Clinic - expanding into the professional market
Coegin is also developing a new VEXIENNE Clinic portfolio targeting hair clinics, hair transplantation clinics and health spas.
A key product within the portfolio is a new Follicopeptide spray specifically developed for professional use, with particular focus on hair transplantation clinics. The format is designed for convenient application across the scalp and to fit naturally into professional routines following hair transplantation.
The professional segment is a high priority for Coegin, driven by the positive experiences from professional hair specialists, including the encouraging 16-week customer evaluation conducted by Hårklinikken, as previously communicated.
"We see a particularly attractive opportunity within hair transplantation. Rather than simply taking a consumer product into clinics, we are developing products specifically for the professional setting. We believe this can create a strong proposition for clinics and open an important new commercial channel for Follicopeptide," says Jens Eriksson.
The first VEXIENNE Clinic products are planned for launch in Q1 2027.
Eyebrow product
Coegin has also initiated early development of a Follicopeptide-based cosmetic eyebrow product, with launch currently planned for Q1 2027.
"We are increasingly moving from commercializing individual products to building a broader Follicopeptide product platform. More applications, more channels and a stronger portfolio increase both our commercial potential and our attractiveness to partners. This is an important part of how we intend to build long-term value around Follicopeptide," says Jens Eriksson.
NPP-4 development progressing
Development of NPP-4 continues to progress, including the previously announced INCI filing. With strong commercial momentum around Follicopeptide and several new products approaching launch, Coegin has decided to prioritize resources towards the Follicopeptide portfolio. The planned launch of NPP-4 has therefore been moved to Q2 2027.
