Crown Energy’s Accyourate adds European patent to its IP portfolio
Crown Energy would like to acknowledge the grant of a European patent to its healthtech company Accyourate Group SpA for its sensorised wearable textile technology and corresponding manufacturing method. The patent adds to Accyourate’s existing intellectual property portfolio and reflects the company’s ongoing work to protect its technology and manufacturing processes.
The European Patent Office (EPO) granted European Patent EP 4568736 B1 to Accyourate Group SpA. The patent, titled “Sensorised wearable textile device, garment incorporating the same and corresponding manufacturing method,” was published as granted on 30 September 2026.
The patented technology relates to wearable textile devices designed to detect electrical signals used for monitoring parameters including electrocardiogram (ECG) and respiratory rate. The sensing elements are designed to be integrated into textile garments for extended periods of use.
A central aspect of the patented technology is Accyourate’s method for producing the sensing elements. Electrically conductive material is applied to a flexible sheet, which is then cut into precisely shaped elements integrating the skin-contact electrode and the conductive tracks carrying the electrical signal in one unit. The approach enables precision, repeatability and scalable production.
“For Accyourate, securing our IP means protecting both our sensing technology and the proprietary processes that enable its scalable manufacture. This patent strengthens that foundation, supporting the company as we continue to industrialise and commercialise our solutions,” says Dr. Amir Beker, Chief Scientific Officer, Accyourate Group SpA.
The European patent forms part of Accyourate’s ongoing strategy to strengthen intellectual property protection around its wearable monitoring platform and the technologies supporting its industrial production.
