Dicot Pharma: three abstracts on LIB-01 selected for presentation at leading sexual medicine conference
Uppsala, Sweden, August 19, 2026. Dicot Pharma AB today announces that three abstracts detailing the clinical development of its investigational drug candidate LIB-01 have been selected for oral presentation at the 27th Annual Fall Scientific Meeting of the Sexual Medicine Society of North America (SMSNA), taking place October 8–11, 2026 in Orlando, USA. All three abstracts will be presented as part of the conference’s Innovation Session.
Dicot Pharma is developing the drug candidate LIB-01 as an entirely new treatment concept for erectile dysfunction. In recent months, several milestones have been reached in the development of LIB-01, including the announcement of new findings on its mechanism of action and positive topline results from a phase 2a clinical trial. The company has subsequently continued its work to design a phase 2b study tailored to LIB-01’s distinctive long-lasting effect on erectile function.
Results from these areas have been detailed in three abstracts, all of which have now been selected by SMSNA for oral presentation at its annual scientific congress in October. All three abstracts have been selected for presentation in the “Innovations in Sexual Medicine Abstracts” session on Friday, October 9, from 4:05 to 5:30 p.m. local time (ET).
The titles, including speakers, are:
- LIB-01: Part I – “Durable Pro-Erectile Effects Involving Transcriptional Modulation of the Melanocortin System". Speaker: Charlotta Gauffin PhD, Chief Scientific Officer at Dicot Pharma.
- LIB-01: Part II – “A Novel First‑in‑Class Oral Investigational Therapy for Erectile Dysfunction with Demonstrated Clinically Meaningful Improvements in Erectile Function and Duration of Action up to 8 Weeks". Speaker: Dr Harin Padma-Nathan, MD, FACS, consultant and internationally recognized expert in sexual medicine.
- LIB-01: Part III – “A Phase 2b trial Design Adapted to a Molecule with a Novel Mechanism and Durable Pharmacodynamic Profile". Speaker: Arthur Burnett MD, MBA, FACS, Professor of Urology at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
"Having three abstracts selected for oral presentation at SMSNA is noteworthy in itself. The fact that all three have also been selected for the conference’s innovation session is a strong confirmation of the scientific interest in LIB-01 and its potential to offer a new treatment option for erectile dysfunction. Our goal is for LIB-01 to represent a paradigm shift in the field, and these results support our ambition," says Elin Trampe, CEO of Dicot Pharma.
