DNO: Statement Regarding Possible Offer for Genel Energy plc

Oslo, 7 August 2026 - DNO ASA, the Norwegian oil and gas operator, announces
that on 28 July 2026 it approached the Genel Energy plc board with a possible
cash offer, with a cash and share alternative, to acquire the entire issued and
to be issued share capital of Genel.
