HAV Group ASA: Subsidiary chosen as supplier to live fish carrier

Fosnavåg, 6th October 2026 - HAV Group's energy design and smart control systems
business has been awarded a contract by Zamakona Shipyard Bilbao (Zamakona) for
delivery of power package and system integration to a live fish carrier for
Brønnbåt Nord that is being constructed at the yard. 

The scope of supply includes a complete power package including electric motor
for propulsion and auxiliary drive, power generator, distribution transformers,
AC/DC switchboards, motor control and starters, a power management system and
integration of the entire system. HAV Group's subsidiary will also support with
commissioning of the system once installed on board the live fish carrier. 

"Zamakona is a familiar partner to NES, and we are delighted to welcome Brønnbåt
Nord as a new customer on this project. Hybridification has become close to a
default specification on newbuild Live Fish Carriers as it delivers substantial
efficiency gains. We have a solid track record in equipping such vessels with
electric power systems, and we believe this was instrumental in securing this
contract," says Siv Remøy-Vangen, managing director of HAV Group's energy design
and smart control systems business. 

Engineering and procurement work will commence in 2026, with equipment
deliveries planned for 2028. 
HAV Group's contract party is Norwegian Electric Systems AS (NES).

"The NES team has worked tirelessly over time to further expand its
international customer base. This agreement with Zamakona, which is a
substantial European shipbuilder with several yards, shows that the strategy is
working," says Gunnar Larsen, CEO of HAV Group. 

HAV Group has not disclosed the value of the contract. However, a work scope of
this nature can typically generate between NOK 40 and 60 million in revenue,
depending on the size and complexity of the power system.
