KDventures portfolio company Modus Therapeutics carries out a directed issue of MSEK 7.6
STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN September 4, 2026. KDventures AB (Nasdaq Stockholm: KDV) announces that its portfolio company Modus Therapeutics has carried out a directed issue of MSEK 7.6. The net proceeds will finance the company’s development plan for the drug candidate sevuparin during 2027.
Investors in the directed issue are Tellus Equity AB, Selandia Alpha Invest A/S, and certain existing minor shareholders. The directed issue of 20,000,000 shares was subscribed at a price of SEK 0.38 per share, resulting in net proceeds of MSEK 7.6 before transaction costs.
The net proceeds will be used to manufacture pharmaceutical product for future activities, for example, in the research cooperation within severe malaria, as well as business development activities in case the ongoing phase 2a study in chronic kidney disease with anemia generates positive data.

KDventures' ownership in Modus Therapeutics after the transaction amounts to 51 percent.
