Baldr Light ApS, a subsidiary of LED iBond A/S, is excited to share that its fundamental patent has been granted by the US Patent Office.
Baldr Light ApS, a subsidiary of LED iBond A/S, is excited to share that its fundamental patent has been granted by the US Patent Office. Patent number 12,628,472 B2 covers a "Far UVC" light emitting device, which is designed to effectively combat pandemics and hospital-acquired infections, among other applications.
This significant milestone comes after five years since the initial application was filed and aligns perfectly with the upcoming international conference on Far UVC, scheduled to take place in Aarhus on June 23-25. https://conferences.au.dk/icfust
In 2023, LED iBond released a press statement detailing this advanced technology along with the patent information. A separate application for EU rights has also been submitted and is currently pending approval.
