Lumito demonstrates successful integration of SCIZYS® within automated laboratory workflow
Lumito AB (publ) ("Lumito" or the "Company") announces the successful integration of the Company's SCIZYS® Erbium kit with the automated laboratory platform for staining tissue samples from CliniSciences S.A.S (“CliniSciences”). The tests were conducted at CliniSciences using Lumito's SCIZYS® Erbium kit and produced high-quality images without prior protocol optimisation. The integration represents an important milestone in Lumitos commersialisation efforts to offer SCIZYS® within existing automated laboratory workflows. This can simplify use and contribute to broader commercial adoption of Lumito's technology.
An easier way to use SCIZYS®
Automated laboratory platforms are increasingly becoming standard tools in both research and clinical laboratories. By demonstrating compatibility of SCIZYS® with the PA-3600 instrument, several steps are automated in analysis of tissue samples – instead of laboratory personnel performing the steps manually, the system can carry them out according to a pre-programmed workflow.
The test, conducted independently by CliniSciences at its facilities and using Lumito’s Scan-as-a-Service offering, demonstrates that the PA-3600 instrument for research use only (RUO) can be easily integrated and used with the SCIZYS® Erbium kit. The availability of a ready-to-use workflow reduces implementation time and lowers the threshold for laboratories adopting SCIZYS®, making the technology more accessible to a broader user base.

Increased potential to reach more laboratories
For Lumito, compatibility with automated systems is an important part of the Companys strategy to scale the use of SCIZYS®. The more easily the technology can be integrated into laboratories' existing workflows, the lower the barrier to adoption for new users.
CliniSciences S.A.S., is an international company with operations and commercial presence across several major European markets. This creates potential opportunities for increased market presence for PA-3600 and, over time, also for Lumito's technology. CliniSciences is also working to establish its solutions within research at hospitals, with the potential for subsequent clinical use. For Lumito, this could over time create additional opportunities to introduce SCIZYS® into new laboratory environments.
Lumito's goal is for SCIZYS® to be as easy as possible to use within laboratories' existing workflows. The test with PA-3600 represents another step in that direction.
