Lumito AB (publ) ("Lumito" or the "Company") today announces that two scientific abstracts have been accepted for poster presentation at the European Congress of Pathology 2026, taking place at Stockholmsmässan, Stockholm, Sweden, on September 12-16, 2026. The Company will also participate as an exhibitor at the congress, which is one of the largest international meetings in pathology, with a strong focus on digital pathology, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies.
The European Congress of Pathology is a leading international meeting in the field of pathology, with a particular emphasis on digitalisation, AI, and novel diagnostic technologies. The congress brings together researchers, clinicians, and industry representatives from around the world. Participation provides Lumito with an important platform for commercial and scientific visibility and for engagement with researchers, CROs, pharmaceutical companies, and other stakeholders in tissue analysis and diagnostics. Lumito will also exhibit at the congress to showcase its solution and meet potential collaboration partners and customers.
One of the Company's abstracts, which has been developed in collaboration with Atlas Antibodies, directly compares direct and indirect UCNP-based biomarker labeling using the SCIZYS platform. The results show that direct labeling shows a high degree of concordance with indirect labeling, while reducing the need for secondary antibodies, which may contribute to simplified workflows and improved efficiency.
The Company's second abstract, which has been developed in collaboration with Concept Life Sciences, compares Lumito's UCNP-based immunohistochemistry with a traditional staining method (HRP/DAB) in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) across multiple biomarkers. The findings show higher sensitivity, wider signal range, and improved cell detection with UCNP-based labeling for the majority of the biomarkers analysed.
