Medclair secures exclusive framework agreement with French purchasing center Resah
Medclair has, through its distributor, won a prestigious framework agreement and been appointed as the sole supplier of equipment for safe nitrous oxide management in a comprehensive national procurement by Resah (Réseau des Acheteurs Hospitaliers) – one of France's absolute largest and most important purchasing centers for public healthcare. The agreement marks an exceptional commercial breakthrough in one of the company's most important core markets.
Medclair already holds a strong position in nitrous oxide management within the recycling industry in France. The fact that Medclair's technology has now been selected as the exclusive option is of strategic importance, as the award covers two tender areas: equipment for measuring occupational exposure to nitrous oxide, and systems for nitrous oxide destruction. The framework agreement acts as a direct purchasing channel for French healthcare, meaning that affiliated hospitals and clinics across the country can now call off Medclair's equipment directly through simple purchase orders – without having to undergo lengthy procurement processes.
The fact that the framework agreement covers both measurement (EXPO) and destruction (MDU) aligns perfectly with Medclair's commercial strategy for expansion. In France, public hospitals are organized into regional networks, known as GHT (Groupements Hospitaliers de Territoire). The equipment for measuring staff exposure often serves as an important entry product; once a department begins measuring and mapping the work environment, a clear and concrete need for Medclair's nitrous oxide destruction systems is quickly established.
For Medclair, an individual hospital or GHT network represents not just a single customer, but a gateway to several different departments. Since the need for nitrous oxide management is spread across a multitude of units – from maternity care and surgery to pediatrics and dentistry – the Resah agreement gives each individual department a direct and independent channel to place orders for their specific needs at their own pace.
Among the major French purchasing centers, Resah holds a unique position as the leading player for innovation and the green transition in healthcare. Being selected as the sole supplier by such an influential and expert-oriented organization serves as a strong national stamp of quality. It confirms that Medclair's technology outperforms the competition and meets the strictest French requirements for environmental performance and operational reliability.
