MilDef signs a 7-year framework agreement with FMV for the delivery of hardware and OneCIS™ software, with a total value of up to SEK 1.5 billion
The framework agreement with the Swedish Defense Materiel Administration (FMV) covers a comprehensive solution for command-and-control support systems designed to enhance interoperability and connectivity with the Swedish Armed Forces. The solution consists of MilDef’s OneCIS™ software, associated hardware and integration, as well as services covering the entire lifecycle. The framework agreement has a potential, but not guaranteed, value of up to SEK 1.5 billion. In connection with today's signing of the agreement, an initial order was placed for a OneCIS license agreement.
MilDef has been supplying tactical IT to FMV since 1997. The new framework agreement primarily enables the implementation of MilDef’s software in the Swedish Armed Forces, a solution that is already in operational use in several Nordic countries and in the Swedish Navy. Based on the OneCIS™ installation software, it enables efficient and secure communication and ensures interoperability between tactically cooperating units within NATO.
The framework agreement covers the entire life cycle, from concept and development to production, operation, and decommissioning. Under this agreement, MilDef can provide, among other things, hardware, software, system solutions, integration, maintenance, upkeep, training, and technical and logistical readiness support.
“The FMV's confidence in us is a testament to our ability to deliver a sought-after comprehensive solution that includes software, hardware, and integration services. The FMV's operational units within the Army, Navy, and Air Force will now be able to place orders under the framework agreement to build the capabilities needed by the Swedish Armed Forces,” says Daniel Ljunggren, President and CEO of MilDef Group.
MilDef’s OneCIS™ software enables rapid deployment of tactical IT services, for example to existing mobile command and control systems, tactical units, and rapid response forces.
