Nexstim Secures First NBS 6 Sale Following Malaysian Market Authorization
Nexstim Plc ("Nexstim" or the "Company") has received its first order for NBS 6 in Malaysia. The system will be installed in a Malaysian hospital and marks the first commercial NBS 6 sale in the country following the recently obtained regulatory authorization.
The customer is new to Nexstim and intends to utilize the system for pre-procedural motor and speech mapping as well as therapy applications. In addition to pre-procedural mapping, the NBS 6 is cleared for the treatment of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), chronic neuropathic pain and post-operative motor rehabilitation.
Nexstim recently announced that it had received authorization from the Malaysian Medical Device Authority (MDA) to market and distribute NBS System 6 for diagnostic and therapeutic applications in Malaysia.
