Smoltek Nanotech Holding AB (publ), Interim report, Q3 2026
Smoltek's CEO, Oskar Säfström, comments on the interim report.
During the third quarter of 2026, Smoltek took significant steps toward commercialization across both of its business areas. Progress in manufacturing, product development, and industrial collaborations strengthens the foundation for entering revenue-generating development, service, and licensing agreements in 2027.
Within Smoltek Semi, the company has established European manufacturing options for critical production stages and finalized the design specifications for the encapsulation of its ultra-thin capacitors. The first components for customer evaluation are expected to be ready toward the end of 2026, with an initial market launch targeted for 2027 within opto and high-frequency applications. Concurrently, discussions continue with potential industrial and licensing partners, offering long-term potential in power delivery for AI and advanced processors.
Within Smoltek Hydrogen, an important step toward industrial qualification has been initiated through an expanded collaboration with Heraeus Precious Metals. This includes a 3,000-hour durability test of Smoltek's porous transport electrode (PTE). Meanwhile, advancements in the manufacturing process are improving the prospects for future pilot production.
Following capital raises over the summer, the Group's cash and cash equivalents totaled SEK 45.6 million at the end of the quarter. The company's objective is to achieve positive cash flow toward the end of 2027.
