Taaleri Private Credit to launch in November, led by Marjo Koivisto and Helen Taflin
In April 2026, Taaleri announced Taaleri Private Credit, a new strategy providing direct lending to small and mid-sized companies in the Nordics. The new business will begin operations on 2 November 2026, initially with a two-person team of experienced private credit markets professionals. The team will be supported by a network of senior industry advisors, and both the team and the advisory network are expected to grow over time.
Marjo Koivisto joins Taaleri as Managing Director and will head Taaleri Private Credit. Koivisto is a seasoned private credit investment professional across the Nordic and wider global markets, and has previously held leadership positions at the World Economic Forum, Danske Bank, Aktia and P Capital Partners. She brings extensive experience in private credit investments, alternative investment management and business development.
Helen Taflin joins Taaleri Private Credit as Head of Investments. Taflin is an experienced investment professional with extensive background across private debt, venture capital and private equity executing transactions across Europe. She has held senior positions at P Capital Partners, Almi Invest Greentech and Lagercrantz Group. She brings expertise spanning the full investment lifecycle, portfolio management and fundraising.

Senior advisors and other experienced Taaleri professionals, will bring additional expertise to Taaleri Private Credit. Among the advisors, Christian Reiner is a private credit veteran with over 20 years of experience in European private credit and fixed income, while Antti Salmela, Taaleri Investments’ Investment Director, a seasoned buyout investor, will advise the team on the middle market.
