Sanna Ahonen, born in 1969, M. Sc. (Economics), BA (International Relations & Diplomacy), has been appointed Terveystalo’s SVP, Chief Transformation Officer and a member of the Group Executive Team. She will assume her position on 10 August 2026 and report to Terveystalo’s President and CEO, Ville Iho.
In her role, Ahonen will be responsible for leading Terveystalo’s strategic initiatives and implementing the ARC strategy announced in June, in cooperation with the business areas and other group functions.

– ARC, the strategy we announced in June, marks a major transformation for Terveystalo and will provide our customers with services that are more accessible, clearer and better tailored to their needs. In creating value, we are placing greater emphasis than before on growth, which we are pursuing alongside our traditional services through growing medical specialities and entirely new, proactive service models. As part of implementing the ARC strategy, we have also completed significant acquisitions. Successfully executing our strategic agenda requires systematic leadership across the entire organisation. Sanna is exceptionally well positioned to accelerate the implementation of our strategy and strengthen Terveystalo’s capacity for change, says Ville Iho, President and CEO of Terveystalo.
– Terveystalo’s new strategy responds to the significant changes taking place in the healthcare operating environment. The adoption of artificial intelligence and the rapid development of digital solutions enable greater accessibility, effectiveness and customer centricity in healthcare services. Terveystalo has carried out pioneering work in developing digital and AI-based healthcare services, and the company has exceptionally strong expertise in this area. It is exciting to join Terveystalo at a historic turning point for the industry and to work together with our customers, employees and the executive team to turn the strategy into practice, says Sanna Ahonen.
