Wihlborgs Fastigheter AB: Fortnox expands with Wihlborgs in Malmö
Business software company Fortnox continues to grow in Malmö and has signed a seven-year lease with Wihlborgs for 3,700 square metres at Werket (Skrovet 6) in Dockan. This represents an expansion of approximately 2,300 square metres compared with the company's current premises. The move-in is scheduled for late spring 2027.
Fortnox has been a Wihlborgs tenant since 2020, when it moved into premises at Drottninggatan 15. Over the years, the company has gradually expanded its space to 1,400 square metres. It will now relocate its Malmö operations to larger, customised premises at Isbergs gata 2 in Dockan. The space covers almost two entire floors.
Fortnox is headquartered in Växjö and has offices in Malmö, Linköping and Stockholm. The company helps businesses start, run and develop their operations through digital services in areas including accounting, invoicing and financing. Fortnox has approximately 1,100 employees, of whom 200 are based in Malmö.
Werket is part of Dockan's continued transformation from an industrial area into a mix of entrepreneur-driven businesses, knowledge-based organisations and established companies. This autumn, Media Evolution will expand its nearby operations into Werket, creating a new hub for entrepreneurship, sustainable growth and future-oriented work together with Minc and the gaming community Game Habitat. Cloetta will also move its largest office in Scandinavia to the building this autumn.
