During spring 2018 a test installation of 26 windows was performed on Vasakronan property, Affärshuset in Uppsala. It resulted in a repeat order of 150 windows. The property, built 1970, is located in the center of Uppsala pedestrian zone and contains a large number of shops and office space. As the property is located in the absolute city center high requirements on restraint and function. The new windows placed towards the courtyard will generate an even and comfortable indoor climate as well as maintaining the important daylight in the building without affecting the design or shape of the façade.

The property has a so called 2+1 glass solution and in this type of installation is very suitable to replace the outer glass with ConverLight Dynamic 75 and by that get a very effective and good solar protection solution. Vasakronan will during the summer evaluate this installation to decide how future installations will be specified.

By this they will be able to maintain the outside view without blocking exterior solar protection and also keep the heat out and save energy. As this installation by Vasakronan also will be used as evaluation for future installations is for us also a very important and good indication for the future", says CEO Jerker Lundgren.
