Cline Scientific's newest publication has now been accepted and is available to read here (https://cellregeneration.springeropen.com/articles/10.1186/s13619-021-00104-5). The paper, titled "Insights into the present and future of cartilage regeneration and joint repair", was written together with co-authors from the University of Gothenburg and is published in Cell Regeneration.
The review provides an overview of the current state of regenerative cartilage repair as well as an in-depth examination of achieving consistent cell quality such as with optimized differentiation protocols and improved cell characterization.
This area is very relevant for Cline who is developing StemCART, a cartilage repair product with the potential to revolutionize treatment for patient's with cartilage damage. StemCART is based on Cline's unique nanogradient technology which enables the precise control of stem cell differentiation into functional cartilage cells in a way that has not been possible before.
"Our newest publication in the area of cartilage repair explores different aspects of the issues we are solving with our StemCART project. For Cline, carrying out research and development at the cutting-edge of the field is part of our core identity and publishing work such as this review is a part of that goal. We are thankful to our collaborators for letting us tap into their depth of expertise in order to advance this important knowledge area and our overall goal of a better cartilage treatment for patients." Dr. Hanne Evenbratt, Director Product Development.
