Press release, 21 December 2021 at 9:00 a.m. (EET)

Shin-Oyama City Hospital in Japan has started to sell the preventative health service provided by Nightingale Health Japan KK, a fully owned subsidiary of Nightingale Health Plc (together "Nightingale"), together with Welltus Inc., a subsidiary of Japanese conglomerate Mitsui & Co Ltd..

Nightingale's preventative health service provides unique data about the customer's current health status and future health risks. The user of the service receives an individual health score and health measurements describing different health areas, such as heart age, fatty acid balance, inflammation and cholesterol balance. The service also provides recommendations on improving health and wellbeing, and customers can easily track their progress with follow-up tests.

Having the service as part of Shin-Oyama City Hospital's offering is an important milestone for Nightingale, as the implementation of the commercialization plan in Japan moves from pilot phase towards commercial partnerships. Nightingale and Welltus aim to expand the availability of the service to several hospitals and clinics in Japan during the first half of 2022.

Teemu Suna, CEO and Co-founder of Nightingale:

"Shin-Oyama City hospital is a distinguished hospital with an established customer base for preventative health services. We believe Nightingale's service brings a valuable addition to Shin-Oyama's offering, as it combines information of current health status and future health risks with actionable recommendations empowering customers to take actions towards a healthier life - we can also show the impact of these actions in a very powerful way."

Dr. Masahiro Nakano, Director of Preventive Medical Center at Shin-Oyama City Hospital:

"Shin-Oyama City hospital is very pleased to start offering Nightingale's preventative health check-up service, as the service captures most relevant lifestyle related disease risks from one blood sample and presents the health information in an easy-to-understand way. The Nightingale health score included in the service is a concrete indicator of overall health and the results show personalized information on which lifestyle changes are worth taking to improve health and wellbeing."
