PolarCool develops and markets the product PolarCap®, which alleviates the effects of concussion. The primary users of PolarCap® include sports clubs, organizations, and facilities in contact sports such as ice hockey, rugby, football, and handball, but also other sports with an increased risk of concussion.

The company has recently landed several strategic agreements in Europe, while also expanding its presence in the domestic Swedish market. In HockeyAllsvenskan, PolarCool already has established agreements with IF Björklöven and Västerås IK. The agreement is strategically important for the company's continued establishment in the league, even if the financial significance of individual agreements is limited.

MoDo Hockey's sports director Henrik Gradin comments;

-Together with our team doctor and physiotherapist, we have evaluated the scientific evidence for PolarCap. We now look forward to including the treatment in our routines around concussions and will also make the treatment available to our women's, J20 and J18 teams.

-It is gratifying that MoDo Hockey chooses to include PolarCap in its management and treatment of concussions. Offering PolarCap at all levels in sports is part of PolarCool's long-term strategy. Today we have a league solution with the SHL and it is positive that several clubs have started in the HockeyAllsvenskan as well. Broad support at the club level is a prerequisite for a league solution.
