RayStation is marketed locally by AROS, a company created by American Board of Radiology-certified medical physicists. AROS is committed to delivering exceptional patient care through close collaboration with the clinicians at cancer centers such as Ryad Oncologia Clinic and Groupe Les Oliviers.
Ryad Oncologia Clinic in Casablanca is one of Morocco's largest and most distinguished private oncology centers. Led by Professor A. Acharki, Ryad provides end-to-end cancer care with surgery and chemotherapy offered in addition to radiation therapy. The radiation therapy division treats more than 150 patients per day.
Professor A. Acharki, CEO, says: "I discovered RayStation during ESTRO 2018 in Milan, Italy, and again at SFRO in Paris. I was amazed by the ease of use and the different services it offers. As a radiation oncologist, I can only say good things about this treatment planning system. RayStation makes it easier and quicker to plan treatment - especially with automatic contouring - which is important as time is something doctors are sorely in need of. I can also attest to the joy of our physicists, who describe it as fast, precise, and concrete. RayStation is the third treatment planning system we have installed, so we know what we're talking about."
Groupe Les Oliviers is a growing network of clinics in Morocco thanks to a partnership with Group ELSAN, a major player in the French healthcare sector. Groupe Les Oliviers plans to open its first radiation therapy clinic in July 2020 in Settat, and its second in 2021 in Beni Mellal. Both sites will use RayStation as their sole treatment planning system.
Group president Dr. El Maati Er Rachiq says: "We are very pleased to be the first cancer center in Morocco to exclusively use RayStation for treatment planning. The choice was made by our radiation oncologists, whom we fully trust in making the right choices for our patients. We are confident that RaySearch and AROS will provide us with all the support we need to utilize RayStation to its fullest potential for the maximum benefit of our patients.
Johan Löf, founder and CEO, RaySearch, says: "Entering any new market is an exciting milestone for RaySearch and advanced software systems designed to improve clinical workflows and the precision of radiation therapy treatment. Growth prospects for the oncology market are positive for Morocco and the North African region and we pledge to work closely with AROS to provide cancer centers there with access to the latest technological developments for advancing cancer treatment."
