In Wallenstam's new production Parkstråket in Haninge, just south of Stockholm, 17 co-living apartments will soon be ready for occupation. There is great interest in the Colive hub, which will be ready for occupation in November. In connection with the allocation of tenants in the co-living apartments, an innovative and research-based matching tool is used with the ambition of matching tenants that are particularly well-suited together in order to ensure increased wellbeing.
"Through our joint ownership in Colive, we want to meet the increased interest that we see for new housing solutions, Parkstråket in Haninge will be the first project, which is now being launched. The co-living apartments are a smart, space-efficient and modern form of housing, which will help to alleviate the housing shortage for young adults, promote social relationships and social gatherings," says Mathias Aronsson, Vice CEO of Wallenstam.
In Haninge, Wallenstam is building a total of 285 rental apartments in the Parkstråket project, which is now in the process of gradual occupation. In the 17 co-living apartments that Colive will let, the tenants will live together in fully furnished accommodation for 5 to 6 people. Apart from a private lockable room, the tenant has access to common areas such as a living room and kitchen. In addition, a large common lounge area is included for everyone in the hub, regular cleaning help, Wi-Fi and community activities.
"The ambition is to create a really good living experience along with a high quality of life. Here, we are giving our tenants a home that will promote togetherness without compromising on personal integrity," says Katarina Liljestam Beyer, COO and co-founder of Colive.
All housing applicants undergo an objective, unbiased and personal roomie matching process in order to increase the potential for everyone to get along as well as possible in the shared apartment.
