Avocet Mining Plc ("Avocet" or the "Company") announces today that the directors
determined a new date for the Adjourned Annual General Meeting of Shareholder
("Adjourned Meeting"). The Adjourned Meeting will be held at 12.00 pm on 26 July
2018 at the registered offices of Avocet Mining Plc, 15 Old Bailey, London EC4M
7EF, United Kingdom.

On 29 June 2018 Avocet announced that a quorum was not present at the Annual
General Meeting and the meeting was adjourned.
In accordance with the Company's articles of association, the directors
determined the new date for the Adjourned Meeting.

Any proxies submitted for the annual general meeting will remain valid for the
Adjourned Meeting unless the appointing shareholder gives the Company notice in
writing to the contrary not less than 48 hours before the time of the Adjourned
Meeting.
