LINK Mobility (LINK) recently launched its global GSMA compliant Rich
Communications Services (RCS) API and partnered with Selligent Marketing Cloud
for RCS.
LINK's single RCS API and integrated SaaS solutions enable brands to have
increased reach and shortened time-to-market for RCS campaigns, customer care
and Natural Language Processing (NLP) / Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbots.
LINK is the RCS launch partner for mobile network operators in several countries
and has direct access to over 80 operators globally.
Selligent Marketing Cloud is an advanced SaaS omnichannel marketing platform.
The partnership makes Selligent Marketing Cloud one of the first marketing
automation platforms in Europe to make the RCS channel available to its
customers.
RCS, or SMS 2.0, is the next generation of traditional SMS messaging on Android
mobile devices and includes images, carousels, videos, maps and calls to action
buttons within the application. The richer feature set allows brands to engage
in conversations with their customers which drives better open rates, engagement
scores and click rates. As a result, RCS campaigns can provide a Return On
Investment (ROI) 5 times higher than traditional SMS.
For individual brands, the creation of RCS campaigns will be complicated, with
different approaches and levels of support across the many mobile network
operators. LINK has 30 local offices in 19 countries which assist brands in
building their RCS campaigns and offer customer care in local languages.
On 1 February 2022, LINK was awarded 'Best RCS Provider' Platinum Winner by
Juniper Research at their "Future Digital Awards". Juniper Research's "Future
Digital Awards" recognizes organizations that have made outstanding
contributions to their industry and are positioned to make a significant impact
in the future. The award highlights LINK's innovative RCS messaging product
which provides a leading proposition for brands. LINK is currently working with
several global brands that are using RCS for both promotional and transactional
messaging.
