Oslo, April 7 2021: Xplora Technologies AS ("Xplora") is today announcing a
trading update for Q1 21. For the first quarter of 2021, Xplora will report
sales of at least 60k smartwatches. This represents a y/y growth of at least
150% from the 24k smartwatches sold in Q1 20. In 2020 Q1 sold volumes
represented 11% of FY 2020 volumes of 216k units.

Commenting on the sales performance in Q1 21 CFO Mikael Clement says: "we are
proud and happy to deliver more than 150% underlying growth and build a solid
start to the year. The strong performance is substantiated given the continued
challenging market environment with closed retail stores across Europe on
Covid-19 restrictions, global component shortages and logistical challenges."

Xplora has had high sales activity during Q1 2021 and signed on a number of new
distribution-, telco- and retail partners throughout mainland Europe and the UK.
In the Netherlands Xplora agreed the launch of Xplora through the Dutch Telekom
network T Mobile, extending on XploraŽs strong relationship with D Telekom. In
Germany, Xplora agreed new product listings with German telecom specialist
Tchibo as well as a number of grocery resellers. The UK agreed distribution
deals with Pan-European distributors Exertis and CMS which opened up product
listings with John Lewis & Partners and Dixons Carphone. In Spain Xplora agreed
listing with Alcampo and extended ranges across a number of other high profile
resellers.

Other key milestones during Q1 21 include the private placement raising NOK 153m
in gross proceeds in February and the announced acquisition of Xplora Mobile
Holding AS late in the quarter, securing recurring revenue streams and expected
to accelerate the rollout of new platform services.

markets, which will be important contributors to the company delivering on our
ambitious sales targets of 500k units in 2021. Xplora has in recent months in
close collaboration with its retail partners successfully shifted sales to
online channels. At the same time, we are experiencing that retailers across
Europe are preparing for an opening of societies and retail outlets for
incremental sales opportunities. In addition, we have a number of initiatives
with exciting new partners on our platform services that we seek to deliver upon
in the near future", says CEO Sten Kirkbak.
