Oslo, 9 August 2021: Xplora Technologies AS (ŽXploraŽ) has reached an important
milestone with 100,000 mobile subscribers in the Nordic market.
Connectivity is an important and integrated part of XploraŽs offering. Xplora
has since 2017 offered connectivity solutions in Norway, extending to Sweden,
Finland and Denmark in recent years. Starting in Q3 21 Xplora will expand its
connectivity offering to Xplora smartwatch customers across Europe and North
America.
Xplora has through an innovative and leading smartwatch offering combined with
tailor made mobile subscriptions developed an unexplored market segment for
mobile connectivity: children in the 4-11 year age group. With more than 65,000
mobile subscribers Xplora has reached a market penetration of 13% in the
Norwegian market, still growing briskly. Subscriber- and penetration growth in
the other Nordic markets is mirroring early market development in Norway and
showing very strong growth.
