STOCKHOLM, February 23rd, 2023, 11:30 CET - Resqunit AB (Nasdaq First North GM: RESQ), a leading provider of high-tech solutions for preventing loss of equipment in the fishing industry, is proud to announce the appointment of Jose Silva as interim Chief Technology Officer (CTO). José Silva has a unique perspective on RESQUNIT, having started as an investor in the company, then becoming Key Account Manager for European sales, and now, assuming the role of interim CTO.
Resqunit' s product is a high-tech solution that deploys a back-up buoy to locate and retrieve lost fishing gear. The product will be instrumental in reducing the environmental impact of abandoned fishing gear and improving safety in the fishing industry.
José Silva, a mechanical engineer with extensive experience in the automotive and engineering industries, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to RESQUNIT. He has worked with top companies like Renault and Ferrari, as well as serving as a senior supervisor for Aker Solutions.
In his new role as interim CTO, Silva will be responsible for driving the development and advancement of RESQUNIT's technology. His expertise in product development, manufacturing processes, and quality control will be essential to the growth and success of the company.
