Aprila has been notified that Visma intends to replace Aprila’s spot factoring products in Tripletex and Visma eAccounting with its own solutions. This is expected to take place during Q2 2021.

Aprila will continue its close partnership with Visma as an API banking partner, delivering innovative financial solutions to Visma’s small and medium sized business customers.

We are very satisfied with our partnership with Aprila, and, although we now intend to replace Aprila as the vendor of spot factoring in our online accounting systems, Aprila will remain as our API banking partner,” says Eivind Gundersen, Division Director in Visma Commerce Solutions. 

Spot factoring delivered to customers of Visma currently represents ~30% of Aprila’s gross loans. Spot factoring from customers of all Visma-owned accounting systems was expected to represent 25% of Aprila’s total income in 2021 and 15% of Aprila’s total income in the period 2021-2024.

“We appreciate that Visma has informed us about their plans several months ahead of their planned launch of Visma’s own products. This way, Aprila will, with a high degree of probability, have sufficient time to replace the lost income with new products and distribution partners. We have a long list of new endeavours that we could undertake, and we have shortlisted a very promising set of initiatives.
