OSLO February 14, 2022: CondAlign and TactoTek® have entered into an agreement to jointly develop, test, and qualify the CondAlign technology for use in manufacturing TactoTeks patented Injection Molded Structural Electronics (IMSE® technology) products.
“The agreement will enable CondAlign to deliver a cost-efficient method for bonding electronic components onto flexible printed electronics and further improve IMSE designs”, says Bjørn Maarud, CEO of CondAlign.
TactoTek IMSE technology solutions integrate and encapsulate printed electronics and standard electronic components within durable 3D injection molded plastics. IMSE parts are three-dimensional, seamless, and compared to traditional electronics, IMSE reduces weight and plastic use by up to 70%, and greenhouse gas emissions by up to 50%.
“TactoTeks unique technology is disrupting several industry segments including touch controls in the car industry. CondAligns goal is to take part in this journey”, says Maarud.
