Partner Energy (PE), an investment company with focus on Renewable Energy and Technology, and Green Transition Holding (GTH) an Industrial, Environmental Technology company, have established a joint venture company called Green Bio AS. The company will utilize cross group competence to develop tomorrow’s green energy for the Norwegian market through development of new energy assets and consolidation of existing portfolios. Green Bio has successfully started operations of its first assets and acquired additional ownership interests in the period. 

Green Bio is led by PE partner Jan Tore Klemmetsen including a technical and commercial team from both PE and GTH, the team has a clear mandate to develop the portfolio and be a core provider of bioenergy in Norway. Green Bio will utilize on in-house competence in building a robust green energy portfolio to meet tomorrow’s customer’s demand for environmentally friendly energy. “Bio Energy will be growing in the Nordic market going forward as we see a clear focus and push from the market where customers will phase out heat sources from oil and gas as well as reduce electricity as a heat source going forward. All giving Green Bio with its competence and capabilities to create value for our customers and future partners” says Jan Tore Klemmetsen.
