We are super happy to announce that Heroic yesterday qualified for not just one, but two Major Championship tournaments, after our CS:GO and Rainbow Six teams successfully made it through highly competitive qualification stages.

These are two great milestones for our young organization and will have huge positive impact, both commercially and financially. 

FOR INVESTORS: STRONGLY POSITIONED FOR 2022 DIGITAL SALES REVENUES
Qualifying with Legend status to a CS:GO Major is expected to increase our digital sales revenues, through the sale of in-game items. As communicated previously digital revenues will be a major contributor to our 2022 revenues. By qualifying, we also secured prize money of minimum USD 30 000. Depending on the outcome of the final qualification matches, the prize money from the two qualification tournaments can be doubled to USD 60 000. 

The Majors are some of the tournaments with the highest prize pools: The CS:GO Major has a total prize pool of USD 2 million, while Rainbow Six Major has a total prize pool of USD 0.5 million.

FOR COMMERCIAL PARTNERS: MASSIVE EXPOSURE GUARANTEED
For our commercial partners, this means guaranteed exposure in two of the largest esports events globally: The previous CS:GO Major, PGL Stockholm, set multiple viewership records including an all-time high peak concurrent viewership of 2.75 million. In total the tournament had 120 hours of airtime with an average viewership of 593 000 and more than 70 million hours watched in total. During the same tournament our partners' brands were shown more than 20 000 times on stream, generating media value in the million-dollar range (source: Cavea). 

The previous Six Major in Stockholm had 64 hours of airtime with an average viewership of 64 000 and 4 million hours watched in total.

CS:GO: LEGEND STATUS SECURED 
Heroic's CS:GO team secured Legend status at the PGL Antwerp Major, after going 3-0 in the qualification tournament, beating reigning Major champions Navi yesterday. With this Heroic became the first team from Europe to qualify for the Major. This was the first time since 2019 that Heroic beat Navi in a best of three. 

Team manager for CS:GO, Kasper Straube, says:
"The guys made me proud yesterday, they showed super strong mentality after going down 0-1 in the match against Navi, just to come back and win 2-1 on maps we historically have struggled against them on. Overall, it is just an amazing feeling to go 3-0 in matches and secure Legend status at the Major". 

RAINBOW SIX: FIRST TIME QUALIFIED FOR A MAJOR CHAMPIONSHIP
Heroic’s Rainbow Six team became the first team globally to qualify for the Six Major in Charlotte (North Carolina), after they yesterday beat Outsiders 7-5. This is the first time Heroic qualifies for a Rainbow 6 Major after positioning as number one on the European leaderboard.  

Team manager for Rainbow 6, Murat Motevalli says:
"Yesterday was as amazing as you can get it. To see that our hard work and plan on how to become the best is working - that feeling, it can’t really be explained, you must experience it. And that is exactly what we did last night. I am so happy right now".
