Christopher O’Connell, who brings more than three decades of global leadership experience in life sciences, has been a member of A3P Biomedical’s Board of Directors since 2025 and will lead the Board in supporting the company’s continued growth and execution.

Martin Steinberg has played a pivotal role in building A3P and advancing Stockholm3 from scientific innovation to clinical validation and commercial launch and will now manage day-to-day operations and strategy implementation.

Biographies

Christopher O’Connell brings more than three decades of global leadership experience across medical devices, life sciences and global healthcare sectors. He most recently served as CEO and President of Waters Corporation. Prior to that, Christopher O’Connell spent 21 years at Medtronic, where he held various senior leadership positions and was a member of the Executive Committee for nine years. He currently serves as an Independent Director for several innovative companies in medical devices, life sciences, and diagnostics, as well as nonprofit organizations. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Harvard University.

Martin Steinberg co-founded A3P Biomedical AB in 2020 and remains one of the company’s largest owners. In addition to leading the company, Martin focuses on business development. He has more than 20 years’ experience as an executive and entrepreneur from various industry sectors. His former positions include Investment Manager at the venture capital firm Litorina Kapital and Management Consultancy at Arthur D. Little. Martin Steinberg holds an MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics.
