To speed up the journey towards profitability and position the company for long-term success, eEducation Albert AB (Albert) today announces a significant reorganisation where the company transitions from a model of multiple independent companies to a unified and function-based organisation. This change is part of the company's long-term strategy to increase efficiency, strengthen focus on B2B, and expedite the integration of acquired companies.
The new organisation, which comes into effect on 1 April 2024, will consist of clearly defined functional areas such as Product Development, Technology, Marketing, and Sales, which will work closely together to achieve overall company goals.
CEO Jonas Mårtensson comments on the decision, saying: "The steps we are taking towards a function-based organisation are a natural part of our journey towards becoming a leading EdTech player in Europe. By integrating our units, we will create an even more agile and forward-leaning organisation. Our aim is to improve efficiency, leverage synergies, and ensure that we are equipped for long-term success."
The company also announces that Anne-Louise Wirén, deputy CEO, is resigning at her own request and moving on to a new assignment outside of Albert. Anne-Louise Wirén will continue to work in her role during the spring to ensure a smooth hand over to the new organisation.
