Group CEO Sonny Mirborn has today informed the Board of Alcadon Group that he wishes to leave his role to take up the position as Group CEO of an unlisted company in an industry that is not related to Alcadon’s business. The Board will immediately initiate a recruitment process to find a new Group CEO. Sonny Mirborn will continue to work as Group CEO during the notice period.
 
"There is rarely a good time to leave a position and assignment such as this, but I believe that this is the right time to leave, as the company has made a transformation towards a European well-balanced group. Alcadon currently shows good control over cash flows, has well-functioning decentralised leadership and significant structural capital. In other words, it is a good opportunity for a new Group CEO to continue the journey of profitable growth. Leaving Alcadon was a difficult decision and I am convinced that the company still has its best days ahead".
