Alzinova’s Phase II study with ALZ-101 accepted for presentation at international Alzheimer’s conference
Alzinova AB (“Alzinova” or the “Company”) announces that the Company’s global Phase II ADVANCE study with the vaccine candidate ALZ-101 has been accepted for a poster presentation at the 19th Clinical Trials on Alzheimer’s Disease (CTAD) conference. The conference will take place in Boston, USA, on November 16–19, 2026.
The poster is entitled “ADVANCE: A Randomised, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Phase 2a Trial of ALZ-101 Active Immunotherapy in Early Alzheimer’s Disease” and describes the design of Alzinova’s global Phase II ADVANCE study with ALZ-101 for the treatment of early Alzheimer’s disease.
ADVANCE is a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase II study in which the primary endpoint measures therapeutic effect in patients with early Alzheimer’s disease. Together with the contract research organization Worldwide Clinical Trials, Alzinova has completed the study kick-off and initiated the operational start-up phase, with the aim of enrolling the first participant around the turn of 2026/2027.
CTAD is an international scientific conference with a particular focus on clinical research and drug development in Alzheimer’s disease. The conference brings together researchers, clinicians, pharmaceutical companies and other stakeholders involved in the global development of new treatments against the disease.
