AuAg Precious Green is changing its name to AuAg Precious Core.
By replacing “Green” with “Core”, the fund’s name more accurately reflects the updated focus of the 50–70% invested in companies that are essential to an electrified world.
The fund will now increase its exposure to the sub-strategies of “production of environmentally friendly energy through solar power and nuclear energy”, as well as “the extraction of the elements required for electrification”. At the same time, exposure will be reduced in the sub-strategies of “reduced energy consumption, lower emissions, recycling, and energy storage”.
“Core” refers to the heart of modern infrastructure – power grids, batteries, renewable energy, and the electrification of transport and industry. At the same time, “Core” alludes to the nucleus of the atom, where the fundamental physical processes behind electricity and energy originate. Ultimately, all energy technologies are built on the way atoms and their electrons interact.
