In 2025, Avanza added 171,000 new customers and the net inflow amounted to SEK 54 billion. At the end of the year, customers’ total savings capital at Avanza was SEK 1,079 billion, which corresponds to a market share of the Swedish savings market of 8.3 per cent. Avanza’s most important target is to have Sweden’s most satisfied savings customers every year according to the Swedish Quality Index survey. In 2025, Avanza won the award for the 16^th consecutive year and ranking highest in every category.

“2025 was a special year where our savers' nerves were tested several times by sharp market fluctuations resulting from the escalating trade war. As the stock market year is summed up, I can however conclude that most equity markets have provided good returns, which underscores the importance of being long-term and not acting on emotion. The geopolitical situation has not improved, and we at Avanza continue to do what we can to support our customers in long-term investing and risk diversification. Despite the turbulence, I am hoping for a Swedish economy that finally gains momentum with higher growth, lower unemployment, and stronger companies, which should benefit the Swedish savings market,” says Gustaf Unger, CEO of Avanza.
