Beijer Tech has today, October 16th, 2025, signed an agreement to acquire the majority of the shares in Clara Nordic Oy, owner of Ewona Finland Oy, a Finnish manufacturer of acoustic products known for its brands Ewona and Insuplast.
Ewona is a Finnish manufacturer of acoustic products and insulation material known for its brands Ewona and Insuplast. The company has successfully established itself as a reliable partner with high-quality products, good service and a strong focus on recycled materials. All of Ewona’s products are approved and certified by the Finnish Allergy, Skin and Asthma Association. The company has 17 employees and two factories, one in Haukipudas and one in Kankaanpää. The acquisition is in line with Beijer Alma’s model for value-adding acquisitions and Beijer Tech’s strategy of acquiring profitable companies in attractive niches with good growth potential and high value-add.
Beijer Tech’s President, Staffan Johansson, comments on the transaction: “Ewona is a niche manufacturer and specialist within acoustics and insulation. The company’s products are used in everything from meeting pods to hospitals and offer an attractive exposure to a market with an increased focus on indoor environments, function and design. We look forward to seeing the company continue to develop as a part of Beijer Tech.”
The former majority owner, Jarmo Palomaa, also commented on the transaction: “We’re very pleased to become a part of Beijer Tech. This is a recognition of the hard work and dedication that our team has put in over the years. Our success is based on our high-quality products and strong focus on customers, not to mention sustainability. I look forward to seeing how the company will continue to develop together with Beijer Tech and how it will create even greater value for our customers.”
Through the transaction, Beijer Tech has acquired a majority of the shares in Clara Nordic Oy, with closing taking place today. The company will be part of Beijer Tech’s Niche Technologies business area. The acquisition is expected to have a marginally positive impact on Beijer Alma’s earnings per share.
