Byggfakta Group acquires leading construction intelligence provider in Ireland

Byggfakta Group has signed an agreement to acquire 100 per cent of Construction Information Services (CIS), through its UK based operating company Glenigan. CIS is Ireland’s leading provider of business intelligence to the Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland construction industry. With the acquisition, Byggfakta Group will further expand its construction information business footprint geographically.
Founded in 1972, CIS is Ireland’s leading provider of business intelligence to the Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland construction industry. Supplying comprehensive and reliable business intelligence to the sector on all significant building projects throughout Ireland.
CIS had approximately EUR 1.6 million of revenue in the financial year 2020 and has approximately 20 employees based in Dublin and Banbridge.
The acquisition of CIS solidifies Glenigan’s position as the most comprehensive provider of construction sales leads and industry insight in the UK and Republic of Ireland and expands Byggfakta Group’s international footprint.

CIS will be consolidated in Byggfakta Group during October. The acquisition is expected to have a marginal impact on Byggfakta Group's earnings per share during the current financial year.
