A&P Gustavsson Däck i Småland, a well-established tire shop in Tingsryd, Småland, is joining forces with Citira. The transaction adds a key service point in the Småland region, further strengthening Citira's presence in southern Sweden.
With roots going back to 1985, A&P Gustavsson Däck i Småland has built a strong and lasting reputation in the local community over the course of four decades. Anders Gustavsson has been at the heart of the business since 1985, becoming Shop Manager in 1995 and taking over the tire shop in 2008. Over the years, he has shaped it into a trusted tire shop known for its high level of service for both heavy vehicles and passenger cars, and its deep community ties. Anders' long-standing involvement in the local community has been a key driver of the tire shop's strong position in Tingsryd, where it is recognized and valued beyond its role as a tire service provider.
"We are very pleased to welcome Anders, Linus and the team to Citira. The tire shop has an impressive history and a genuinely strong local presence. That kind of trust, built over many years, is exactly what we look for when growing our network. We look forward to supporting the continued development of the business in Tingsryd and the surrounding region," says David Boman, CEO at Citira.
"Joining Citira is the right next step for the business. It has been a privilege to serve this community for so many years, and I am confident that with Linus leading the team and with Citira's backing, the tire shop will continue to thrive and deliver the service our customers deserve," says Anders Gustavsson of A&P Gustavsson Däck i Småland.
Linus Engberg, who has worked in the tire shop since 2013, will take on the role of Shop Manager following the completion of the transaction, ensuring continuity in day-to-day operations and upholding the high standards that customers have come to expect. The tire shop will continue to operate from the same premises with the same team, now with access to Citira's resources and network to support further growth. Anders will become a co-owner of Citira.
