Lapin Kumi, part of Citira, is today acquiring the business of Rengas Park in Kangasala, near Tampere in southern Finland. This partnership strengthens Citira’s presence in Finland and adds a well-established local tire service provider to the group, further expanding our network across Northern Europe.
“We have for some time been asked when Lapin Kumi will come to Pirkanmaa. Rengas Park offers an excellent entry point for us in this market, and the strong foundation they have built over the years played a key role in starting our discussions,” says Ville Ruokanen, CEO of Lapin Kumi.
Rengas Park has rapidly grown into one of the largest tire companies in Pirkanmaa, underpinned by a commitment to providing customers with the best possible service.

The transaction is the next step in Lapin Kumi’s growth journey. With the acquired tire shops, revenue has more than doubled since 2017.
“Behind this growth is the excellent service provided by Lapin Kumi’s 260 top professionals, the independence from tire brands, as well as their name carrying the positive associations with Lapland,” says Ville Ruokanen.
The acquisition will be finalized by the end of November, and the Kangasala branch will continue to operate under its current name for now.
