Örnsköldsvik, Sweden - 14 November 2024 - Clavister, a leader in European cyber security for mission-critical applications, today announced a new distribution partnership with Seabix AG, a Dätwyler IT Infra AG company, to provide integrated ICT and cybersecurity solutions. Seabix will serve as Clavister’s distributor in Switzerland, offering comprehensive firewall solutions to support the digital sovereignty of European companies and institutions.
The partnership will initially focus on seamlessly integrating Clavister’s firewall solutions into Seabix’s IO-platform for managed security services, with a strong end-customer focus on the public sector and telecom industries. This collaboration will commence in Switzerland, with plans for further expansion into other European markets.
This synergy will enable Swiss partners and businesses to easily access top-tier cybersecurity solutions originating from Europe, which is crucial in the current politically charged environment where protecting data and know-how is of utmost importance.
“Dätwyler is a strong and credible international brand. As a part of Dätwyler IT Infra, Seabix is their innovative IT infrastructure service provider business. We are proud to have been selected by Seabix and Dätwyler IT Infra to strengthen their commitment towards European ICT and cybersecurity. We look forward to building a fruitful cooperation with Seabix, where our security solutions get a wider reach into the DACH market, and where Seabix’ extensive experience of managed IT services will contribute to evolving Clavister’s technology and offering,” states John Vestberg, Clavister CEO.
“Seabix AG is not just a classic distributor; they provide their partners with a variety of innovative services where Clavister plays a key role in IT security,” says Benjamin Hanka, Partner Success Manager, DACH at Clavister. “The partnership allows Swiss system houses and businesses easy access to our high-quality, European cybersecurity solutions. In the current politically charged environment, it is especially important to protect data and know-how.”
“We are very pleased about the partnership with Clavister. Cybersecurity is extremely important, especially for SMEs, as they are often the target of attacks but do not always have the resources to protect themselves fully. Together, we now offer a European alternative that helps companies to efficiently protect their infrastructure from attacks and to prevent the outflow of information. In combination with the powerful Seabix IO platform, customers have the opportunity to roll out cybersecurity as easily as possible and keep it up to date,” says Thierry Kramis, CEO of Seabix.
