Eleda Norge AS, part of the Eleda Group (“Eleda”), has signed an agreement to acquire Nettpartner Bane AS from Å Energi owned Nettpartner AS. The business provides catenary, track, and signalling rail services in the railway and tramway market in Norway, with a primary focus and expertise within catenary. With this acquisition, Eleda further broadens its offering in railway maintenance in both Norway and Sweden.
“We are delighted to welcome Nettpartner Bane to Eleda. The company is uniquely positioned and perfectly complements the other operations in Eleda Rail in Norway. We can also see potential for the business in the Swedish market. The acquisition follows the purchase of Nordic Infrastructure Group at the end of 2025 and is highly strategically important for Eleda Rail’s offering to our customers,” comments Ellinor Thiel, President and CEO of Eleda.
"Nettpartner Bane has had a formidable journey and is today strongly positioned in the Norwegian railway market. The company is involved in several major projects for Bane Nor and Sporveien. With Eleda as the new owner, I am convinced that Nettpartner Bane has the best conditions going forward," says Atle Knudsen, Executive Vice President of Å Energi.
Nettpartner Bane will be part of Eleda Rail, which consolidates Eleda’s railway maintenance activities. The company generated sales of approximately NOK 375 million in the last twelve months and has more than 100 employees, with its headquarters in Lysaker and regional offices in Torpo, Voss, Flisa and Arendal.
“Nettpartner Bane has a strong management team and we are very much looking forward to the company continuing to operate as an independent entity, while benefiting from synergies and new business opportunities both in Eleda Rail in Norway and Sweden and in collaboration with Eleda’s other operations,” comments Erik Hellberg, CEO of Eleda Rail.
“We see immense potential for us to leverage Eleda’s broad exposure to both the Norwegian and Swedish railway markets. With Eleda as our owner, we now become part of a group that supports our focus on rail. We have similar culture and values, and as part of Eleda we gain access to complementary skills and markets to further develop the business.” comments Kjell Anders Fosshaug, CEO of Nettpartner Bane.
The acquisition of Nettpartner Bane is subject to approval by the relevant authorities.
