Enersize announces today that the European Patent Office (EPO) has decided to allow the company’s patent application for “Fair Consumption” – a method for fair and reliable measurement of energy consumption in industrial compressed air systems.
The allowed patent complements Enersize’s three core methods that together form the foundation of the company’s technology platform:
- Modellation – Digital twin that simulates the entire compressed air system and identifies energy-saving potential (under examination by EPO)
- Visualization – Real-time visualization of compressor systems and energy losses (granted by EPO)
- Fair Consumption – Fair measurement ensuring that implemented actions lead to actual energy savings (now allowed by EPO)
All three patents are already granted and registered in the US, giving Enersize strong global intellectual property protection.
“This is an important milestone for us. We are strengthening our patent portfolio in Europe and demonstrating that our methodology meets a high international standard. This is technology that provides industry with real tools to reduce energy consumption,” says Fredrik Arrigucci, CEO of Enersize.
The patents will be integrated into Enersize’s modernized monitoring system, which was recently launched. This means that functionality previously handled separately will now become a natural part of the platform – providing customers with improved data support, enhanced visualization, and a higher degree of automation.
