Amersfoort, 7 May 2026 – Envipco Holding N.V. (“Envipco” or “the Company”), a leading global provider of recycling systems and Reverse Vending Machine (RVM) technology, has signed an agreement to supply RVMs to Netto Polska.
According to the agreement Envipco will deliver approximately 700 RVMs to the retail group’s stores across Poland including service over the contracted duration. The RVMs will be provided on a throughput basis. Deliveries have commenced and full deployment on the agreement is expected in 2026.
“We are excited and proud to be selected as RVM supplier to Netto Polska. Our Optima and Flex RVMs installed across the customer’s stores throughout Poland will provide efficient and convenient return points for consumers, help the retailer meet its obligations and be an important enabler of creating a circular economy in Poland” says CCO Europe and Asia Fons Buurman.
Poland DRS went live in October 2025 as the 18th European country to introduce a DRS for beverage containers. The DRS system is gradually being built as an increasing number of containers carrying deposit are introduced to the market and returned by consumers. The total number of beverage containers covered by the Polish DRS is expected to reach around 14 billion units annually, making Poland one of the world’s largest DRS markets. The Polish DRS targets 90% collection rate by 2029.
Netto Polska is a chain of discount stores present on the Polish market since 1995. It currently has over 680 stores and employs over 8,000 employees. The Netto brand is part of the Salling Group - the largest Danish retail group, also operating in Denmark, Germany and the Baltic countries.
“After conducting extensive tests and an RVM pilot, Netto has decided to expand its cooperation with Envipco to develop and operate a network of deposit return points, so that it functions in all Netto stores across Poland, ensuring efficient and convenient packaging collection, enabling participation in achieving national collection targets," says Jakub Linkowski, Head of Operations Support Department, Netto Polska.
Envipco is highly committed to supporting the Polish DRS with an industry-leading product and services offering lead by the extensive team in the company’s Warsaw office complemented by regional sales teams.
